I'M SO UPSET! I'M SO ANGRY!
wif myself.

i woke up in the morning, realise i wasn't having a straight and clear vision. Initailly i thought it was bcos of the lighting and sunshine which somehow or another affected my vision. But i was wrong. soon, my head was aching like crazy. i frowned to ease the pain away.. apparently its of no use at all. the pain jus wont go away. i felt like my right brain was having a serious cramp. well, a MIGRAINE. (Why does it has to happen on this point in time ne? veri rare for me to suffer frm migraine also!) i sat on the bus, enable to go through some last minute informations for CIP. i tired to sleep, but i was feeling nausea. Reached the school aqnd met potatoes, cried over the intense pain, viomitted out my breakfast. yucks. AND.... sat for the paper.

haiis. i studied for cip. i did study.
but i know i'm not gonna do well at all.
what a pity. the pain haunted me through the whole 2 hours. i couldn't concentrate.. rather disturbed by the intense pain. But i told myself i need to pull through! i just have to. and whatever the result might be, all i can tell myself is that i DID MY BEST.. i realli did.

Thanks evern, especially. and the rest of the pots. =)
i'm feeling much better alr.

What is migraine?
Migraine, severe headache that occurs periodically and is sometimes confined to only one side of the head. A migraine is characterized by intense, throbbing, often blinding pain, and one or more of the following symptoms: sensitivity to light, nausea, vomiting, chills, facial swelling, tenderness of the scalp, sweating, frequent urination, irritability, visual hallucinations, and malaise. The headache may be preceded by a warning sensation, known as an aura, that may include flashes or patterns before the eyes, illusory tastes or odors, dizziness, tingling, or numbness.

Cause of Migraine?
At the onset of a migraine headache, blood vessels within the head constrict, causing a decrease in blood flow to the surface of the brain. Swelling of blood vessels in the head and scalp then sets off a chain of reactions that result in the headache. Among the biochemical changes associated with migraines are a reduced level of the neurotransmitter serotoninn as well as an insufficient supply of enkephalins, the brain’s pain-relieving chemicals.

Hormonal level changes (such as those experienced by women during menopause or menstruation), endocrine imbalances, and stress due to anything from overwork to loud noises are considered precipitating factors of migraine headaches in susceptible people. Other factors that may trigger attacks include allergies, excess carbohydrates in the diet, foods rich in the trace element iodine, and alcoholic beverages.
