24th june 2008 -marks my three whole months with the meritus mandarin. learning, adapting , working, slogging and everthing. :) three months since i am here. nothing was really that bad except having to sign a counselling letter due to negligence in work. well, a counselling note is equivalent to half a warning letter?? anyway, all thanks to my goodie trainer peikai. i received my confirmation letter without any delay. met up my bestie on friday for a late lunch and early dinner at Swensen IMM. was hoping to see mummy feron or kelly working since i reached at the change-shift-timing. But none of them was working that day lar! so qiao... i had sirlion steak for lunch and steph got the half bbq chic. we have fot soup of the day, soft drinks and a scoop of ice cream each. the best thing is we did not pay a single cents bcos bestie has got this HSBC voucher which got us dining for free :) after lunch was shopping arnd IMM, checking out stores in IMM and visiting daiso. den we got tired and found a place in MOS Burger, chatting.. trying to remember and recall our subject teachers in secondary school ! thats was sure fun but brain-killing. HAHAHA. left IMM towards jo's house after that. there was a surprise party planned for her farewell! dearest jo is gonna leave sg for further studies in aust. so yeahh. so touched jo must have been. seeing so many of her closed and loved ones getting together and surprise her! :) also managed to catch up abit with ame, ade, peiwei, stef and cailing. so friday is a fulfilling dau for jenn! YAYYY! for friday. being my off day. BOOOO! for saturday. because my midnight shift starts again! tonight is my third night, two more to goooo before my tiny break away from work. its gonna be a celebration for my boyfriend and i :) 3D2N getaway in conrad here we comeeeeeeeeeee. time's up for my break, back to work =D Labels: ame and jo, MM, stephie, swensens |
